Mark's Pianos

Mark's Pianos, owned by piano technician & rebuilder, Mark Bushell, along with his wife, Lanie, is a family-owned and operated piano company continuing a family tradition started by Mark's family in the 1960's.

Mark grew up in the showroom of his grandfather's piano store,  Moody Piano & Organ, in the home with his mother's piano and voice teaching studios, Moody Music Studios, and grew up learning the piano moving trade working with his Father's moving company,  Bushell Piano Movers.   In the early 90's, Mark expanded his role with his Dad's company becoming Bushell Piano Movers' Vice President.   

At a young age,  he also started apprenticing and learning the trade of tuning and repair including all piano service from interior to exterior, from minor service & repairs to  full restoration.   In the 90's Mark's passion and skill for piano service led him to open his own piano company, offering sales and service to compliment  his father's piano moving and storage operation.  

In 2020, when Raymond Bushell sold his trucks and retired to Vermont, Mark and Lanie expanded Mark's Pianos to now include Piano Moving & Storage, all under their established and thriving piano business,  Mark's Pianos.

Sadly, on June 3, 2022, Raymond Bushell passed away leaving Mark, his only son, to carry on the Bushell name and the legacy of piano work started by Mark's Grandfather, Mother, & Father in the 60's.

Mark is proud of his family's legacy and has already started teaching the trade to his 4 sons.
