Our business is completely family-owned and operated.  We do not employ commissioned sales staff and do not need to inflate prices to cover those costs.  

From our wholesale warehouse to our moving services, we work to keep overhead down and therefore our prices low.  

Our piano sales are priced low to make acoustic piano ownership affordable and accessible helping us foster a tuning and service relationship with you for years to come.  

Service and playability guarantee only available within our service area.

Each sale piano comes with the offer of a playability guarantee, warrantying each note's ability to play within your contract period.    Mark will provide any necessary service/adjustments to the keys and action at no charge during your piano's paid tuning visit.   The length of each piano's playability guarantee varies by piano and tunings contracted at the time of purchase ranging from 3 months - 5 years (new pianos up to 10 years).  

Mark’s Pianos Playability Guarantee

Mark’s pianos guarantees the ability for this piano to function as a playable instrument for the length of the piano's playability guarantee.

For the first 30 days after delivery, Mark will provide service on any notes not functioning/playing properly without needing to use one of the aforementioned tunings.   Pianos need time to adjust after a move and fluctuations in relative humidity may require some initial followup adjustments.  This is normal and covered within the first 30 days.  

After 30 days, the playability guarantee, ensures that all parts and labor for any repairs/adjustments to the action and keys are covered by Mark’s Pianos when service is completed during a pre-paid tuning visit.   If service is required outside of a tuning visit, the parts & labor for service is still included, however a  travel fee will be assessed.  

The playability guarantee will be voided if the piano is serviced by an outside technician or failure to maintain routine care.  

The playability guarantee does not extend to damage caused by misuse, improper moving, or failure to care for the piano’s humidity requirements such as extreme temperature/humidity conditions or being stored in an unregulated area such as a garage, against a heater, or near a working fireplace/wood stove, etc.  
 

Pianos require routine tunings and occasional maintenance and can require additional adjustments to suit the individual player’s preferences.  The playability guarantee also does not include these normal maintenance services such as regulation, tuning, and voicing,

The purchase price of any of our new pianos is a protected investment.  Several of our pianos* come with the option to  trade-in  for the full price you paid towards your next piano of equal or greater value.    

Pianos must be tuned/maintained routinely by our technicians.  Damage to the piano due to misuse, neglect, improper humidity conditions, or service by other technicians may limit or void the trade-in option.

Hopefully your family will be in love with playing the piano forever.  But we know  that isn't always true.  You can feel secure in your investment with a new piano from Mark's Pianos with our buy-back guarantee.  Several of our new Baldwin and Hallet & Davis pianos  come with a guaranteed buy-back (provided normal wear & tear), offering  you between 50-70% of your original purchase price within 3 years.  The buy-back program is only available on specific models so please ask to see them when you visit our wholesale warehouse.
