Every piano has its own unique life lived, whether it's been a musician's favorite instrument, a practice instrument in a school or studio, or lovingly banged on by some not-so-gentle tiny fingers :-). With thousands of moving parts, and under 18 tons of pressure when at pitch, pianos break down over the years, even if they've sat unplayed. Occasionally in a piano's lifetime, it's due for some replacement parts and TLC. Whether your piano is only in need of a partial or full reconditioning, needs a complete restringing, or is due for a complete overhaul including new soundboard and new pinblock, we provide it all. Each piano's needs vary so we always begin with a complete evaluation to create an individualized service plan for your piano.
Some reconditioning we can provide right in your home or over a couple visits where only some parts come back to our shop. With larger projects, the piano is moved to our shop in Holliston, MA for service. Since we are also the piano mover, we can bundle all your service and moving needs conveniently, no need to hire or coordinate with a separate mover or technician to get the job done!
The first step in breathing new life into your piano is to schedule a service evaluation.
