It's with a heavy heart that we share the news of Raymond (Rob) Bushell's passing. Rob poured his life into his family, his work, and his community. Bushell Piano Movers was such a huge part of his life and he was so very proud to share the legacy of the family business and begin the steps of training Mark to continue the Bushell Family legacy with Mark's Pianos.
Raymond Otto Bushell aka Rob Bushell of Framingham, MA passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 just shy of his 78th birthday. Born on July 7, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska, he was the son of the late Raymond O. and Elna B. (Thomas) Bushell.
A Framingham resident for most of his life, Rob graduated from Framingham High School class of 1962 and continued his academic accomplishments by earning a Dual Masters in US History and Education in 1988 from Framingham State College as well as his Doctorate studies in Naturopathy.
With his chivalrous mid-western charm, giving heart and love of people, Rob had the ability to bring out the best in others. This showed most in the success of his long running business Bushell Piano Movers, where he treated each person who called or walked through the door with great care and respect, creating many life-long friendships. Through his business he made sure to support local schools and musical organizations until his retirement in 2020. His passion for music, painting and native American culture kept him busy when not spending time with the many furry creatures that he spoiled and kept close to his heart. As our beloved patriarch, he carried great pride for his family, sharing experiences, accomplishments and life lessons to all those around him. He loved and gave so much to so many people never asking for anything in return but love of life, good conversation and laughter.
He is survived by three children Laurie Lovell and her husband Jeffrie, Tammy Prince and her husband Corey, and Mark Bushell and his wife Lanie, all of Milford, MA. Rob also leaves his sister Judith Coover and her husband Brad of Thornton, CO and 9 grandchildren: Christopher, Timothy, Samantha and Andrew Nicholas, Taylor Langmeyer, Aidan, Wesley, Lucas and Simon Bushell and great granddaughter Emersyn Jean Bukis; as well as his niece Tina Kezlan and nephews Tim and Jess Kezlan. He was predeceased by his late wife of 50 years Jean E. Moody-Bushell.
A celebration of life to honor Rob will be scheduled on a future date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America , American Heart Association or St. Joseph's Native American Indian School.
